TVOTW
- PAGE INDEX
To:
Tony Blair, Prime Minister of Great Britain
From: Clayton W. Wentworth
Email: admin@tvotw.com
It
is with great concern that I am compelled to write to you regarding
the current political situation and in particular having regard to the
events of 11 September 2001 in the the United States.
Evidence
before TVOTW indicates that there are some grave concerns with every
aspect of the handling of this matter from its inception.
I
have to advise you that every aspect of the alleged war against terrorism
is illegal under international law. Furthermore - there is a further
body of evidence about to be released to the Internet which holds serious
implications for the administration in the United States.
Our
better judgment tells us that you have meant well in your stance taken
on these matters, however you must understand that even if bin Laden
is directly or indirectly responsible for the events of 11 September
2001 there is considerable concern why someone who is extremely wealthy
in his own right and who has not in any way suffered deprivation of
any kind should embark on a course of action which occupies the extreme
end of the criminal spectrum.
Nothing
and noone should ever condone or acknowledge that the acts committed
were in any way justified. There is considerable alarm however that
is being felt by people in the Western world as to the affects the foreign
policy of the US and other Western nations has had upon countries in
the Middle East and Arab world - prior to - as well as after 911.
The
net result and it is now an undisputed fact particularly having regard
to the recent happenings in Argentina that anything the imperialistic
and interventionist policies of the US and others has touched - has
resulted in spectacular and catastrophically negative outcomes for the
economic and humanitarian fortunes of each and every one of those countries.
We could well be seeing and experiencing an extremely ugly aspect of
Newton's 3rd Law of motion.
The
message that we are required to convey to you is clear and unequivocal.
It will be communicated to the United States in no uncertain terms.
Get
out of other countries business. Stop immediately - the interference
in other countries democratic functions. Stop immediately - any punitive
actions regarding trade sanctions or any form of trade subsidy regime
which has the purpose and effect of inflicting considerable harm to
the economies of the developing world.
The
detrimental affect of these policies are going to blow back with devastating
outcomes if you do not allow the countries in the developing and Arab
world to achieve a reasonable measure in the equitable distribution
of wealth amongst their peoples.
There
must also be an immediate departure from the inflammatory rhetoric that
goes on at the political level which does nothing but exacerbate the
tensions and add fuel to the fire.
Finally
- although we have never met - I would like to say to you as a friend.
Distance yourself from the current aggressive policy being exhibited
by the administration in the US. It would be a sad outcome indeed if
you allowed yourself and your government to be dragged down by certain
covert actions by the executive in the US to the extent that it could
end up costing you the ultimate price of the loss of government in Great
Britain.
The
colonialism and the imperialism of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries
has to stop. Great Britain and other Western powers have extracted enough
from the countries that have been affected. It is now time to start
putting back some of that resource or the eventual cost to all of us
may end up being too much for any of us to bear - or entertain.
For and on behalf of,
TVOTW,
Clayton W. Wentworth.
