This
article TVOTW would like to dedicate as a personal and open message
from all of us to you - John Pilger. For the benefit of those who don't
know - John comes from Australia.
You
may not know it John - but there are many thousands of us who have been
following and reading your work for many years. Those of us that I refer
to - the majority - you have never met and do not know.
There
is one thing we want you to know. You may not know us personally, but
the affection and respect that we have for you and the example and the
courage that you have shown us is one which we will never forget and
that history will perpetuate for the rest of time.
There
is no doubt that your work has placed you in great personal danger on
many occasions in the crisis affected parts of the world that you have
had to travel to.
To
you John - we cannot thank you enough. It truly is the case - the world
owes you a great debt. For you - our door is the open door of welcome
and appreciation that will never close. The least we can do in appreciation
is to put our efforts and support into righting the many wrongs that
you have brought to our attention.
We
will not fail in this task and we will never give up - no matter how
long it takes.
